The Temple of Saturn saturn.jpg (38487 bytes)

The Temple of Saturn sat high above the Sacra Via just where it curved to ascend the Capitoline Hill.  The deep foundations served to house the treasury of Rome.   The six columns across the front of the temple still stand today.

A human figure in blue is included in the two elevation drawings to give a better sense of the scale of the building.
