Comparison of the arches of Titus, Septimius Severus and Constantine

This drawing shows the relative sizes of the three major arches still in existence in the Forum Romanum. The Arch of Titus is drawn in black, Titus in blue, Constantine in red. The top row shows the front view, the middle row is the footprint, and the bottom row shows a side elevation. A human figure is shown in the center of each archway to give scale to the drawings.

Although the elevation drawings for the Arch of Constantine are not yet available, its size can be estimated from its footprint.
